To help individuals enhance their quality of life and reduce/sustain recovery from substance use, we utilize a person-centered approach through our various therapeutic modalities (i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing).
Our program components include, but are not limited to (Intensive and Supportive outpatient services) that address anger management, coping skills, recognizing your triggers, developing a positive support system and much more.

***Teen Parenting Workshop***
As a teen parent with limited experience, navigating parenthood can seem overwhelming, stressful, and daunting, especially if you don't have anyone to seek guidance from.
Having the right support and foundation is essential for effective parenting at every stage of child development.
Our well-organized class and wraparound support promote growth, equipping you with essential skills and tools for effective parenting. This workshop aims to instill confidence, courage, and guidance while providing techniques to help you succeed as a parent.
Our program is designed/geared to support pregnant teens/teen parents 17 or younger with children five or younger for long-term success, and to connect them with a network of resources.
Topics addressed include, but are not limited to:
-Prenatal Care/Postnatal Care
-Mental Health (Postpartum)
-Baby Moses Law
-Stages of Child Development
-CPR (Infant and child)
-Child Safety
-Parenting education related to substance use.
-Assistance with Community Resources and referrals.
-Educational Guidance

***My Baby and Me (Substance Abuse Parenting Workshop) ***
*** Were you aware that substance use can have enduring effects on your child? Using drugs during pregnancy carries risks. ***
Our 4-hour Telehealth class on Substance Abuse and Parenting aims to equip you with strategies to protect your child(ren) from the dangers linked to substance use and abuse.
Our class aims to help parents struggling with addiction comprehend the effects of drugs, their potential impact on children, and how to cultivate healthier parenting skills.
Topics discussed include, but are not limited to:
-Parenting education related to substance use.
-Prenatal and Postpartum Care
-How a mother’s drug use affects the complications of childbirth.
-Under the influence.
-Secondhand Smoke.
-The adverse effects of drug use and parenting.
-Developmental Delays.
-Substance use during pregnancy.
-The effects of drug use on your child’s development.
-Abuse and neglect.
-Child safety (Water, Gun, and Sleep Safety).
-Keeping My Baby Safe (CPR, Well Baby Visit, Immunizations).
-Community Resources (WIC, Medicaid, Food stamps, ECI, and Daycare) and referrals…

Individuals acquire techniques through reinforcement to enhance positive behavior and develop skills to cease maladaptive behaviors. They are instructed on identifying inappropriate behavior while fostering skills in empathy, likeness, and mindfulness. Additionally, this workshop emphasizes conflict resolution, cultivating skills in anger management and problem-solving strategies to address conflicts.
**** 4-hour class (2 days a week)***
